Auxiliary Fence

For extra support, I often temporarily screw an auxiliary fence to my mite gauge, see Drawing. The only problem with this is that the woodscrews eventually strip out the holes in the auxiliary fence. To solve the problem, I replaced the woodscrews with machine screws and threaded inserts, see Drawing. (Note: This also makes installation and removal quick and easy.)

  6. Available at hardware or tool stores, Come-A-Long will hook to the post on one end and the hook will connect to the end or termination bar for pulling. By cranking the handle, you reel in the cable pulling the fencing taut. Fence contractor New Orleans
